The Members in Practice Committee (MPC) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from accomplished Chartered Accountants, practitioners, subject-matter experts, professionals, trainers, and mentors for empanelment as Faculty / Experts for its flagship initiative – the 30-Day Residential Programme for Newly Qualified Chartered Accountants.
About the Programme
The 30-Day Residential Programme is envisioned as an intensive, immersive and application-oriented capacity-building initiative designed to support newly qualified Chartered Accountants at one of the most important stages of their professional journey — the transition from qualification to practice, consulting and entrepreneurship.
Going beyond conventional classroom learning, the programme seeks to integrate experiential learning, case studies, hands-on practice labs, simulations, mentoring, interaction with accomplished practitioners, technology exposure, professional skill development and real-world practice insights.
The programme seeks to help participants understand not merely “what to know”, but more importantly:

12 Intensive Practice Labs – Learning by Doing
Hands-on and case-based learning will be undertaken through the GST Lab, Income Tax Lab, MSME Advisory Lab, Consulting Lab and Corporate Audit Lab.
The labs will enable participants to work on practical problems, client situations, documentation, advisory opportunities and professional deliverables.
13 Consulting & Advisory Practice Development
Transitioning from compliance-driven services to advisory-led engagements; problem-solving; business and performance advisory; MIS and strategy; risk and process consulting; designing consulting offerings; building repeatable toolkits; using AI to understand clients; and undertaking consulting simulations.
14 Drafting, Representation, Ethics & Regulatory Readiness
Professional legal drafting; replies and appeals; representation before tax and other authorities; Code of Ethics; NFRA; Peer Review; FRRB; disciplinary mechanism; and case discussions on common violations during the early stages of practice.
15 ICAI Ecosystem, Professional Wellbeing & Lifelong Development
ICAI infrastructure and resources; CPE; post-qualification and certificate courses; member benefits; professional pressure management; wellbeing; resilience; work-life integration; and sustainable professional performance.
16 My Practice Roadmap – Grand Finale
The learning journey culminates in each participant presenting an Individual Practice Roadmap covering personal values; niche and practice DNA; practice infrastructure; service offerings; client acquisition strategy; a 90-day launch plan; and a five-year professional vision.

The Members in Practice Committee therefore seeks accomplished professionals who possess strong domain expertise and practical professional experience; the ability to translate knowledge into practical application; experience in mentoring, training, or capacity building; exposure to emerging, consulting, specialised or new-age areas of practice; experience in practice management, entrepreneurship, or professional advisory services; and a genuine passion for contributing towards the development of newly qualified Chartered Accountants.
