The Committee for Members in Practice (CMP) of ICAI is organising is organising a One Day Workshop on “Reimagining the CA Profession: Emerging Practice Opportunities in a Globalised Economy”, hosted by the Western Indian Regional Council (WIRC).
The workshop aims to equip Chartered Accountants in practice with practical insights into emerging advisory and consulting opportunities, future-ready practice models, and diversification beyond traditional compliance. The programme will feature expert-led sessions and a panel discussion covering high-growth areas such as Global Capability Centres and GIFT City opportunities, GST litigation, real estate and RERA advisory, customs and FTP, MSME consulting, Virtual CFO services, and international taxation and transfer pricing. Designed with a strong practical focus, the workshop seeks to enable participants to build scalable, value-driven practices and remain competitive in an increasingly globalised economy, as part of CMP’s ongoing efforts to strengthen and future-proof the CA profession.
